Here at Future Present, we love pushing PowerPoint to its limits and exploring what’s possible.
Our PowerPoint development team are experts at producing uniquely inspiring presentations. They are always up to date with the latest PowerPoint innovations.
To test the functionalities of PowerPoint, each week in our all-hands meeting, our design team challenges Rob from our development team to recreate things they’ve found online… in PowerPoint.
Using his keen knowledge of PowerPoint animations and the Morph tool, Rob almost always manages to make something awesome.
This week’s challenge
This week, a client wanted to display multiple partner and charity logos, some of which were low quality images, on one slide. For this example, Professor Rob replaced those logo with sweets!
To achieve this unique effect, Rob created three separate groups of jelly beans on one slide: a foreground where the sweets were bigger and blurred, a background where they were smaller, and a middle ground positioned between the two.
Using morph, he animated each group, making the foreground move faster and the background slower to give the impression of depth.
In a presentation, this could be used to display lots of images on the same slide in a creative and engaging way. The blurring of the foreground is useful for when some of the images you want to display are of low quality.
