The Client
Jordeson Timber have been importing and distributing softwood timber products to customers throughout the UK and Ireland for over 180 years. They are experts in their industry, and are now one of the fastest growing timber importers in the UK.
The Challenge
The main challenges we faced in this project were the very short deadline, restrictions on file sizes from the event organiser, and rapidly changing content/brief.
The short deadline required our team to manage their time effectively, working together to complete the project swifty while allowing for sudden changes in the brief and content.
The restrictions on file size meant the team had to carefully consider the design choices they made to ensure the deck was as impactful and visually stimulating as possible while the file size remained low.
Approach
Jordeson Timber wanted a deck that would look great but not cost the earth. To make this possible, we optimised our time and made the most of the assets Jordeson Timber provided to put together an impressive presentation on a short timescale.
We utilised the stunning images Jordeson Timber provided of the forests their wood comes from by displaying them across the entire screen to visually compliment their message.
Jordeson Timber were keen to repurpose the slides for other similar activities, so we ensured the deck was user friendly to make it as easy as possible for their team to edit in the future.
Results
We produced a single PowerPoint file with impressive, full screen imagery, text animations and impactful product profiling. The file was eventually exported as a video file for use on the looping screen at the event.
